Breast Reduction

This is a 55 year old female who was suffering from back and shoulder pain because of her large and heavy breasts.  All other remedies had been tried in order to relieve the discomfort and it was finally decided that a breast reduction would be an excellent option.  This would reduce her overall size and the weight reduction would improve the strain on her back, neck, and shoulders.

She underwent the procedure without any difficulties and was back to her usual activities in one week.  A total of 1300grams (almost 3lbs) were removed in total from both breasts.  A "medial pedicle" technique was used in order to keep her looking full and round not obtain a "boxy" look that is common with some of the older more traditional techniques. 

She loves her new look and is thrilled that the pain in her back, shoulders and neck has been relieved. 

She is seen in the post op photos about 4 months after the procedure.  Her scars will continue to improve and lighten over time and will become barely visible.
