Avéli™ Cellulite Reduction
If you are looking to smooth away your cellulite, look no further than Avéli—a cutting-edge, minimally invasive treatment for the buttocks and thighs. This FDA-cleared cellulite reduction procedure offers long-term results you can see and feel.
Patients seeking smoother, firmer skin travel to us for nonsurgical cellulite treatment from Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, and throughout New York and New Jersey.
A Cellulite Treatment That Actually Works
If you’ve tried various so-called cellulite remedies only to be disappointed with the results, Avéli is a game-changer. Unlike traditional cellulite treatments that treat surface-level concerns, Avéli tackles cellulite dimpling at its source: the fibrous septa bands that tighten and cause the fat beneath your skin to protrude.
Avéli uses a novel “inside-out” approach that precisely targets and releases the affected fibrous bands for an immediately visible improvement. Watch the video below to learn more.
Who Is a Good Candidate for Avéli?
Anyone searching for a treatment that works for cellulite reduction is a potential candidate for Avéli. It was designed for adult women, but men can also benefit from the procedure. Candidates should be in good health and have cellulite dimples on their thighs and buttocks. You should also understand that Avéli does not treat skin laxity or excess fat.
If desired, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Louis C. Cutolo Jr. can discuss complementary procedures, such as liposuction or BodyTite, to address any additional concerns.
What Does an Avéli Treatment Cost?
The treatment cost depends on your specific concerns and goals. When you come in for a consultation, we can assess the extent of cellulite and determine if more than one treatment session is needed to get the desired results. We will also provide a price quote for you to review.
The Avéli Procedure
Avéli is performed as an in-office procedure. We administer local anesthesia and guide a hand-held device under the skin. Once we identify the septa causing the dimpling, we cut those bands and confirm their successful release in real time. The entire process takes about an hour.
Recovery After Avéli
You can typically enjoy a rapid recovery from Avéli. While it is not a surgical treatment, it does require minimal downtime afterward. Most patients are back to their normal routines within 24 to 48 hours and experience some swelling and bruising. These symptoms, including tenderness to the touch and minor contour irregularities, resolve within 30 days.
You’ll need to hold off on exercising for the first few days after treatment to allow the area to heal. Dr. Cutolo Jr. can advise you when it is OK to resume strenuous activities and provide you with post-care instructions to optimize your recovery.

Avéli Results
Your results will be visible as soon as the bruising and swelling subside. Patients typically need only a single treatment session and can enjoy long-term improvements in the appearance of cellulite. In clinical studies, patients still had smoother skin on their buttocks and thighs one year after Avéli.
