Breast Reduction Before & After Case 171

This is a 53 year old female who no longer wanted to tolerate the large size of her breasts.  The weight was causing grooving of her shoulders and contributed to back pain.  She wanted to reduce the weight that she was carrying on her chest as well as to obtain a more pleasing and youthful shape to her breasts.

We discussed a breast reduction procedure that would help her attain all of her goals easily and safely with a minimum amount of recovery and post op discomfort.  The procedure not only reduces the weight by removing heavy breast tissue, it also removes skin and repositions the nipples to a higher position.  The nipple size is reduced as well. 

She underwent the procedure without any difficulties and was back to her usual activities in 10 days.

She is seen in the post op photos approximately 6 weeks after the procedure.  The scars will continue to improve and in time will become hardly visible. 

She loves her new look and the reduction of weight has resolved all of her symptoms!
