Breast Augmentation Before & After Case 35
Provider: Dr. Louis Cutolo Jr.
Procedures Performed Breast Augmentation
Patient Age 25
Patient Gender Female
This is a 25 year old female who underwent two prior breast augmentations by another physician before coming to our office. Her first procedure was placement of breast implants in the 300cc range. She was unhappy with the results and then underwent a "lift" and placmement of implants in the 600cc range. She still was unhappy with the results and came to our office to improve her prior breast augmentation.
Because of the asymmetry and insufficient "lift" that was performed, it was recommended to perform the procedure in stages. She first underwent a deflation of the saline implants in the office under local anesthesia. Her second stage consisted of a formal mastopexy (lift) and removal of the previously deflated implants under general anesthesia. The final stage was re-augmentation with 659cc silicone implants using the inferior scar from the lift as the access point.
Because of the multiple variables present, it was explained to the patient that the best result would be obtained in stages - not trying to accomplish everything in one setting. She understood and agreed and is thrilled with her results.
*Keep in mind that each patient is unique and your results may vary.
