Eyelid Surgery Before & After Case 225

This is a 65 year old woman who thought that the loose skin in her upper eyelids made her appear tired and therefore less vibrant and youthful.  She came to the office wanting to reduce the skin in her upper eyelids and to give her a more youthful and rested appearance.  

We discussed the procedure called an upper eyelid blepharoplasty  which is done under local anesthesia in the office and has essentially a one week downtime.  The skin is excised and sutures are removed one week later.  Most patients can return to work in one week.

She recovered quickly and is happy with her results.   She is seen in these photos 6 months after the procedure.
