Breast Reduction Before & After Case 161

This is a 48 year old female who wanted to reduce the size of her breasts.  The weight was placing too much strain on her shoulders and back.  She had back and neck pain that was not relieved by therapy and it was decided that a breast reduction would certainly reduce the excessive strain.  It would also provide a more esthetically pleasing shape and size. 

The procedure was performed in the OR under general anesthesia and approximately 500grams (1.1lbs) were removed from each breast.  The weight reduction in each breast provided significant improvement in her breast esthetics and drastically relieved her back pain, neck pain, and shoulder strain.

She is seen in the post op photos approximately three months after the procedure.  She loves her new look and that her back, neck and shoulder issues have resolved.
