Breast Reduction Before & After Case 10

This is a 24-year-old female in good health who was suffering from persistent back and neck pain associated with large, dense and hanging breasts. She desired to reduce her breast size in order to provide relief from these symptoms. The weight of her dense breast tissue was causing shoulder discomfort and grooving from the straps of her bra. She underwent a bilateral breast reduction using a medial pedicle technique that left a well-healed scar around the nipple/areolar complex and extended to her inframammary fold. She had an excellent result with both breasts significantly smaller, lighter and sitting higher on her chest. She reported a huge improvement in the neck and back pain post operatively. Approximately 350g (close to 1 pound) of tissue were removed from each breast. The patient was happy with her newly reduced breasts.
