Tummy Tuck Before & After Case 243

This is a 41 year old female who disliked the excess skin and the shape of her abdomen.  She had multiple pregnancies and noticed that she was not able to regain her pre pregnancy shape with exercise and diet.  She came to the office to discuss her options.  

While liposuction or Bodytite would give her a reasonable result, she wanted to get the best result possible - she wanted the flattest tummy that was possible.....so a Tummy Tuck was chosen as the procedure of choice. 

Liposuction and Bodytite would reduce the amount of fat present but would not flatten the abdomen because the muscles would not be addressed. With weight gain and loss and with pregnancies, the "sit up" muscles spread apart causing a "Diastasis".  This can only be treated by suturing the muscles back together as part of the tummy tuck.  The excess skin and fat below the belly button is then removed.  

She underwent an abdominoplasty without any issues and was back to her usual activities in 10 days.  

She is seen in these post op photos approximately 8 months after the procedure.  She loves her new flat tummy and loves the fact that she can wear form fitting clothing again.
