How is BodyTite performed?
BodyTite is typically performed under local anesthesia without sedation—helping you avoid grogginess and other general anesthesia side effects. Your treatment area will feel completely numb as your doctor makes a small incision and inserts a cannula (thin tube) just beneath the skin. The handpiece connected to the cannula emits RF energy to the surrounding fat and tissue. At the same time, the external transmitter glides across your skin and emits an additional dose of RF energy.
This thermal energy promotes skin tightening, and if necessary, the cannula also removes fat cells. Results vary from person to person, but most patients see up to 47% improvement in skin laxity.
How long does it take to recover from treatment?
