Breast Lift Before & After Case 269
This patient came to Dr. Louis Cutolo Jr. having previously undergone breast augmentation 14 years earlier, with silicone implants placed under the muscle through an inframammary incision. Over time, the skin had stretched and the breast tissue had diminished, resulting in a sagging appearance. She chose to have the implants removed.
Dr. Cutolo performed a mastopexy (breast lift), removing the implants along with excess skin and repositioning the nipple to a higher, anatomically appropriate location. The before photos show the degree of ptosis that had developed, with noticeable downward displacement of breast tissue and the nipple. The after photos, taken three months following the procedure, show the breast contour with a lifted profile and the nipple at a higher position relative to the breast mound.
For prospective patients researching a breast lift in Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, this case illustrates how the procedure addresses sagging that develops when skin laxity and volume loss affect the overall shape of the breast. Sutures were removed one week after surgery.
She is seen in the post op photos 3 months after the procedure.
She is thrilled with her restored and natural look.
