This is a 46-year-old female in excellent health who gained and lost weight with each of her pregnancies. She had become unhappy with the stretched skin and the noticeable stretch marks. She thought that the excess skin made her appear older. Her goal was to reduce the excess skin of her abdomen, obtain a better contour and reduce the number of stretch marks below her belly button. She underwent an abdominoplasty with tightening of her abdominal muscles. An ellipse of skin below the belly button was excised and this led to her obtaining a much more youthful appearance. Almost all of her stretch marks were gone!
