Tummy Tuck Before & After Case 165

This is a 54 year old female who disliked the shape of her abdomen.  Pregnancies and weight gain and loss over the years left her with a tummy that was not as flat as she desired.  She wanted to remove excess skin and tighten her abdominal muscles so that she could obtain a much more youthful contour.  During the consultation, CoolSculpting, liposuction and a tummy tuck were discussed.  The most aggressive of those options, an abdominoplasty or tummy tuck, was chosen because she wanted the flattest stomach as possible.  CoolSculpting and Liposuction would only address reduction of fat.  They could not tighten the muscles and remove the excess skin..and these steps were necessary in order for her to attain her goals of the flattest tummy possible!

She underwent the procedure without difficulties and was sent home on the same day! Within 10 days, her drains and sutures were removed and she was back to her usual activities. 

She loves her new look and is seen in these post op photos approximately 4 weeks after the procedure.  Her scars will continue to mature over time and there will be a continued reduction in the minimal residual swelling that is present.
