CoolSculpting® Before & After Case 139

This is a 63 year old female who disliked the excess skin and fullness in her arms.  She came to the office to discuss options for improvement. She preferred to avoid surgery. 

After discussing the surgical options which include liposuction and excision of the excess skin and fat (brachioplasty) she preferred to try CoolSculpting.  CoolSculpting is the only  FDA approved non surgical method for fat reduction.  While it might not provide the most dramatic result it would avoid the recovery from the surgical procedures and would avoid the long obvious scar that would be present after a brachioplasty(excision of skin and fat). 

The CoolSmooth applicator was used to cover as much of the bothersome area as possible and each treatment was two hours in length.  She spent four hours in total treating both sides and went home immediately with no recovery.

She is seen in these post treatment photos only 1 month after the procedure.  She obtained a significant reduction in the fat and a significant contraction of skin and loves her result.  Fat reduction and skin contraction continues for a total of 4 months after the procedure so her result will continue to improve!
