Rejuvelift™ Before & After Case 244

This is a 54-year-old female who wanted to refresh her appearance.  She thought that she was developing sagging skin and lost some of the fullness in her cheeks that was present a few years back.  She came to the office to discuss her options.

It was decided that she would undergo a Rejuvelift in order to improve the sagging skin in her neck as well as to lift the jowls that had developed.  In order to address the loss of volume, fat transfer was the solution.  Fat is removed from her belly and after processing in a centrifuge to purify it, it is injected into her cheeks and nasolabial folds and marionette lines.  One of the benefits of fat transfer is that stem cells from the fat will also improve the texture and quality of the skin.

The Rejuvelift and the fat transfer are all done in the office under local anesthesia with Valium given by mouth.  Since we don't need general anesthesia, the recovery process is much quicker and easier.   Downtime for this procedure is about 10 days.  

She is seen in these post op photos approximately 2 months after the procedure.

She loves her refreshed look...and was thrilled that she could do it in the office without general anesthesia.
