This is a 69-year-old female who disliked the jowling that was happening as she aged. She also wanted to reduce the excess skin in her neck . She was looking to achieve a more youthful appearance by improving the sagging neck and jowls. In order to achieve her goals, a Rejuvelift was performed in the office under local anesthesia with oral sedation. The first step in the procedure was to perform liposuction of the neck and jowl region. This would reduce the fullness in these areas in preparation for the neck muscle tightening portion of the Rejuvelift. The neck firming procedure was performed next in order. Finally the face was addressed by lifting the sagging tissue in the cheek. This maneuver helps to raise and improve the jowls. Excess skin was removed as the final step. Fine sutures were used to close all of the wounds and allowed the scars to be barely visible. This office procedure can take just under two hours to complete, and the patient can “turn back the hands of time” with a quick recovery – shorter than most traditional face lifting procedures. She was ecstatic with her new and refreshed look.
